What Is AMP
AMP which stands for (Accelerated Mobile Pages) is a Google-backed project with the aim of speeding up the delivery of content through the use of stripped down code known as AMP HTML. Put simply, AMP is a way to build web pages for static content (pages that don’t change based on user behavior), that allows the pages to load (and pre-render in Google search) much faster than regular HTML.
Now back to the business of the day! Interestingly this guide is aimed at helping you implement Google Adsense and probably other Ads network properly on you blogger blog without any validation issues. As you may or may not know, AMP doesn’t support script to run in AMP versions, which is part the Google Adsense code! That’s a bit sad though! So, in this post, I am focusing more on adding Adsense ads in AMP pages, and this trick is very useful for all those bloggers who survive on their AdSense income.
How To Implement Adsense On AMP Blogger Page
Note: You must be an Adsense publisher i.e you must have your publisher id!
Step 1: Visit your Adsense dashboard. Create a Responsive Ad Unit (Link Ads, Text or Text and Image Ads). Take note of the 10 digit Ad ID which is always in this form — 6686862963
Step 2: Replace the AdSense PUBLISHER ID and AD ID with yours in the code given below.
do you need a specific size? Then all you just need to do is to edit the width and height to the size you want.
Step 3: Now paste the code into an HTML widget on your blogger blog, and click Save!
Now your ads can now be visible on the AMP version of your web pages after few minutes in your mobile or smartphone.
